Before the deluge

Before the deluge

Some lenses are pretty good, like the Panasonic 45-150mm, and some are great, such as the Olympus 75mm f/1.8. The Olympus 75mm is a lens that makes you want to go out and shoot anything and everything, just to see what it looks like when rendered by the spectacular optics. No hype here, it’s the real deal.

It also helps to keep working a subject, trying different angles, focal lengths, apertures, exposures(oh yes, there is no one correct exposure), shifting position ever so slightly to alter the background, etc, etc, etc. Very rarely is my favorite image of a subject the first one I create.
